Ireland is holding its Science Week during this fortnight (please don’t ask for an explanation for this logic, it is just so).
Two lectures highlight the difference between science-fiction because engineering is absent and science-fact because engineering is present - last week Monday a lecture on the Big Bang at Trinity College Dublin by Dr Cormac O’Raifeartaigh, and Monday, yesterday, a lecture by Trinity bio-med research Professor Luke O’Neill:-

Last Monday evening Astronomy Ireland held a lecture at Trinity College Dublin on the Big Bang presented by Dr Cormac O’Raifeartaigh. The presentation was enjoyable insofar as the presentation itself was concerned. But, at the end the writer raised questions regarding the attribution of specific electro-magnetic frequencies to specific coloured bands of light in the light spectrum – and particularly to confirm that this attribution derived from Young’s Slit experiment.
In other words the question was focussed on a fundamental principle of science and its original derivation. After a short response from Cormac the writer explained that Young’s Slit experiment has been wrongly interpreted and that it essentially is the superimposing of two mirror images (one image from one side of the slit, the other from the other side of the slit, and superimposed by virtue of the sides being close to each other).
The response from Cormac O’Raifeartaigh was to argue that there are ample of authorities to support the attribution of the frequencies to the light spectrum, hence he (Cormac) must accept those of authority. The writer pointed out that there was a refusal to debate the fundamental science and instead to simply repeat old theories despite their being proved defective or doubtful; that it was a case of decades accumulation of mountains of voices silencing a lone voice (vis: the writer’s) that has brought new insights.
O’Raifeartaigh simply shifted attention to another questioner.
Hence, science debate is squashed and defective theories prevail. (There was no opportunity to raise other fundamental science issues that also disprove the Big Bang).
Attempts to follow up this line of argument during the reception at Lombard Hotel brought further rejection from Cormac & more bizarre theories from others (such as proposition of testing & proving real science via virtual space of a laptop).
Cormac O’Raifeartaigh cited a number of authorities, all dead barring one – Stephen Hawking. The writer pointed out, to Cormac’s surprise, that this authority had resigned his Lucasian Chair at Cambridge – the writer contended that on a balance of probabilities that Stephen Hawking had resigned because the writer had disproved his theories. (Stephen Hawking has refused to engage in science debate on the fundamentals raised by the writer)
A letter was sent to Cormac, Astronomy Ireland & Science.ie the following day (see below) to pursue these issues but nil response – hence, defective science theories prevail – BECAUSE engineering is absent and scientists REFUSE to engage with engineering.

Contrast this to last night’s Royal Dublin Society’s RDS Boyle Medal Talk by bio-med research Professor Luke O’Neill – his specific area of research is into Gary Larson cartoons intelligently interspersed with research into Toll-like Receptors (huhhhh! – it’s basically into understanding inflammatory diseases such as altzheimer’s, rheumatic fever, etc.)
Bio-med research, by necessity, is closely linked to the medical profession (doctors are to humans what engineers are to machines & physics) – engineering is very much present within this kind of research field.
The writer proposed to Luke O’Neill whether there was correlation between his stated rise in inflammatory diseases and the increase in Global Warming (see follow up email below). This unfortunately was misinterpreted as climate change which missed the point that bio-med research is only looking at one of a ‘two-tailed’ problem……
….. We exist and everything around us & into deep space exists because of fundamental forces interacting. As explained in earlier papers in this series – light particles do not zip at speed c, nor as waves – otherwise we would not have constructive & coherent light transmission.
Star/planets systems function as SUPER-MOTORS, light information & energy transmission is on a balance of probabilities via a transmission switching mechanism across an ether. It follows that everything functions because of this mechanism.
Hence looking at bio-med from the observable & zooming into molecules overlooks the other end, that of the fundamentals of what causes atoms hence molecules to function. And the reason that this end is overlooked is because physics-science has spun off deep into science-fiction far away from reality.
In short we need to bring matters back onto track by ensuring physics-science correctly engages with engineering as do other areas of exact science engage.
BUT, when we look into the inexact-sciences (SEBFL = social/economy/business/finance/legal environments) we again find that not only is engineering entirely absent but that massive global finance frauds are present – which is the principle cause of the Global Economy Meltdown & chaos which is spiralling ever-deeper …………..

……………. The UK government appear to have accepted that continuing a war with the Taliban makes no sense – media reports show that UK Gov are pressing Karzai to talk to Taliban and find solutions.
It is mind-boggling that the UK Government expect others to talk across a battlefield of missiles, bombs & bullets, which have come about because of fundamental differences/disparities due to grossly defective & massively destructive western SEBFL science models.
Yet, UK’s Labour Government & Parliament have become so totally autocratic that it cannot talk constructively across the narrow aisle within the Commons Chamber to develop unity with its main Labour, Conservative & Lib-Dem parties to combat World War III (Finance Wars).
How then can Labour expect Karzai to find solutions?
The conflicts have roots deeply embedded within the grossly defective & massively destructive SEBFL inexact science models that western governments have imposed and which are destroying Lesser/Un-Developed nations – which are defective because engineering is absent.
Talking will not, alone, solve the differences – we can see this with the resurgence of IRA violence in Northern Ireland – deep roots of disparities still exist and it is these that are smouldering and presently building to another future inferno. We see it in Iraq after the ‘defeat’, and it will occur in Afghanistan if & when a cease-fire is achieved. It is building in South Africa because President Zuma also refuses to engage, transparently & honestly, with pioneered engineering. Ditto all other under-developed nations.
It is simply a case of those individuals currently in authority seeking to achieving personal gains but with the underlying defective inexact science models remaining; so disparities continue to widen; and anger builds into another future inferno.
A perusal of this year’s Nobel Prize winner’s citations clearly show that Sweden’s Wallenberg family has come out of the woodwork and become brazen in their hijacking of the Nobel Foundation. It is plain for the whole world to see that Barack Obama has done NOTHING to warrant the Peace Prize. The Physics prize has been wrongly awarded for marginal development of existing science. The Economics Prize has been awarded for a new form of political ideology falsely guised as science (Economic Governance) which is as deeply rooted in cancerous evil as Communism or any other pervasive ‘ismic doctrine (more on these imminently).
All three of these 2009 Nobel Prizes have violated Alfred Nobel’s ‘Terms of Will’.
With the Nobel Peace Prize bringing around a million US dollars a sitting US President comes cheap. The same occurred with Tony Blair’s Honours4Cash buy-off when he ‘won’ the Dan David Prize.
Western leaders are easily purchased.
In short – the evidence that science is being purposefully distorted for fraudulent ends is increasingly mounting.
It is spinning the world into deep chaos.
Governments need to engage constructively, transparently & honestly with pioneered engineering.
Merit needs to be correctly rewarded/funded.

Re: Big Bang lecture, Trinity College Dublin, Nov 9, 2009 – massed voices harbouring defective theories - drowning reasoning.
Whilst the lecture was enjoyable insofar as the presentation went what was disconcerting was the refusal to engage in factual scientific debate on fundamental science principles upon which are based defective theories about deep-space.
I attempted to focus on the specifics of Young’s split experiment to ascertain the veracity of light spectrum colours having specific frequencies attributed. I argue that the Young’s experiment has been mis-interpreted. I tried to develop other arguments to show further support that the big bang theory (as postulated) was incorrect.
Cormac argued that since there were many persons of authority accepting the big bang it follows that my lone voice must be wrong. I persisted in saying (to effect) that we needed to focus on specific science issues not emotive & popular opinion. This was ignored.
Attempts at the Lombard resulted in Cormac repeating the same premise and others coming up with equally defective/untested/virtual theories that support the big bang – in short, rational scientific debate was entirely absent.
To dispel Cormac’s argument – Stephen Hawking resigned his Cambridge Lucasian Chair a few weeks ago – my contention is that he did so because my work has disproved his theories – Hawking refuses to engage.
Consequently Cormac cannot rely on the premise that people in authority support the big bang. Roger Penrose, Lisa Randall (Harvard) & many others also refuse to engage in scientific debate.
There is a natural, and understandable tendency to cling to the various straws we develop to support theories – but the reality is that the big bang is based upon progressive & increasingly defective steps of flawed reasoning.
There are fundamental errors in the foundations that support the big bang theory – and the theory gained prominence mainly because Albert Einstein panicked, when Hubble released his expanding universe theory, and since then deep-space thinking has gone way off course far from science-fact and into deep science-fiction.
Some Key points:
- Gravity is an ‘internal’ electro-static force; it is NOT what holds star/planets systems together
- light particles do not travel at speed c, or anywhere near it & do not behave as waves, if they did then we would be blasted to smithereens, we would not exist; wave & particle theory would cause chaotic light transmission not coherent transmission.
Consequently e does not equal mc2, & Relativity Theory is impossible.
- particle light theory would create a massive quantum imbalance between electron flow in electric circuit and the zillions upon zillions of light particles per electron that would be needed for light particle theory, because electrons flow at drift velocity.
- light transmission dynamics are as yet unknown, hence it is erroneous to assume that light emitted from distance stars are subject to Doppler effect. Doppler is a phenomena resulting from man-made pulsing.
Another incorrect premise was presented: that unless I could come up with an alternative theory then my proofs, that the big bang was defective, would have no weight. This proposition is defective because the two issues (disproving one theory and developing & proving another) are entirely separate & independent. I do not have to prove another theory model to disprove the big bang – I need only show the flaws within the fundamental science upon which big bang is based – and I have done this on a number of points.
However,
I do put forward a more logical explanation.
I contend that star/planets systems are SUPER-MOTORS and I give rational argument for this.
I argue that the earth (& other planets) are essentially induction motors (& furnaces); that the sun’s electro-magnetic radiation causes planets to spin (as motors) the centrifugal force opposes the ‘external’ magnetic field (induced by sun’s radiation) attracting earth to sun, and hence planets orbit.
The moon’s axis is near-perpendicular to the earth as the moon is not spinning. It interacts with the induced currents in the earth which modify the current flows and hence vary the gravity, hence tide effects (which is a pumping action).
Light transmission is via a switching mechanism across an ether, no ether = no transmission. Doppler does not apply to light transmission mechanism.
There is no proof that light spectrum has ‘frequency’ attributes – Young’s slit experiment is not correctly interpreted – it is simply a merging of two mirror images (each of the diffractions from the two sides of the slit/s)
For SUPER-MOTORS to function it requires energy flow – energy is transmitted through switching mechanism, but with a drift velocity of the ether – and this is what is causing the universe to expand (at a drift velocity) and most likely near-uniformly. Time horizons are much, much further into the past than previously thought (from incorrect big bang proposition).
We do not see anything zipping at speed c, so the proposition that the far reaches of space have massive components zipping at c makes little sense.
Time is NOT a dimension. What is past is past, what is right now is now, what is in the future is in the future and drawing closer until instantly present then past
etc., etc., etc., etc.,

I am open to debate – in fact I have established an Open Global Challenge – but no takers as yet; and as mentioned, Stephen Hawking has resigned, hence big bang theorists cannot rely upon his authority. I am totally open to being proved wrong – but in all sincerity, a little thought about my propositions will quickly lead to conclusion that they are making sense & based upon sound reasoning & not upon mass voices.
There is a general culture of dishonesty throughout universities & academic institutions – this needs to be reversed – Nobel Prize has been hijacked & prostituted.

Re: Boyle Medal Presentation & Talk – Inflammatory Diseases increase/increase in Global Warming – talking only to one end of worm.
Manythanx for an entertaining & informative evening.
My question re correlation between Inflammatory Diseases increase to increase in Global Warming was shifted, understandably, to climate change. We have become brainwashed via media about the issues and have become confused about cause/effect – which is what & what is which.
My approach was from a broader perspective.
We exist and everything around us & far beyond us into deep space exist because of fundamental forces interacting. Your bio-medical research addresses technology from the observable and zooming into the smaller world of molecules. Your research is closely linked/supported/aided by the medical profession (doctors/nurses) and constructive feedback provides important evidence.
BUT, molecules are made up of atoms, atoms are made up of nuclei & electrons, nuclei & atoms are made up of ….., which are made up of ….. – which brings us eventually to the most fundamentals through which everything functions.
It follows then that addressing biology research from the observable end omits the opposite end of the chain – much like the Gary Larson cartoon of the snake chatting up the wrong end of the worm.
However a difficulty exists – and that is that physics-science research has gone way off-track away from science-fact and deep into science-fiction. (light particles do not zip around at speed c, hence e does not equal mc2, relativity theory is impossible, big bang as currently propositioned is science-fiction).
We see everything because there is constructive coherent light transmission dynamics – particle & wave theories would bring destructive & chaotic transmission – it follows, on a balance of probabilities, that there must be an ‘ether’ through which light information & energy is transmitted, through a switching mechanism.
It follows that everything exists because of this fundamental transmission mechanism – it follows that the power source for same must be the sun. It is why I proposed that star/planets systems are SUPER-MOTORS.
Essentially Einstein panicked when confronted with Hubble’s expanding universe (at speed c) theory. Instead of stopping & applying rational thought Einstein panicked and gave his weight to the theory. Since then and for some 70 years this error has been increasingly compounded. Consequently insights & understandings coming from the fundamental end of physics-science research have diverged increasingly from reality into science-fiction and has misled researchers. Hence there is a massive gap in converging the ‘two ends’ of science.
Whilst bio-med research has close alignment to the medical profession physics-science reject engineering inputs. In fact much physics research is performed by people fast-tracked from mathematics (an abstract concept) with minimal, if any, proper science training, and the profession entirely distanced from engineering (in terms of research). Doctors are to humans what engineers are to machines & physics – they put science into practice.
With engineering being absent from physics-science research has spun off into science-fiction.
If we link this to the question prior to mine regarding finances – the intangible sciences (social/economy/business/finance/legal environments, SEBFL) are not only devoid of engineering inputs) but the environments are very much contaminated by financial corruptions = intangible sciences are heavily skewed, also into science-fiction - hence Global Economy Meltdown & chaos.
I propose that a rethink is needed within the sciences – to talk to the other end of the worm

Ireland’s Royal Dublin Society (RDS) held a lecture last night presented by Open University (UK) Professor Jonathan Silvertown, entitled ‘Fragile Web: What next for Nature?’ – to celebrate Darwin200 & the 150 anniversary of the publication of ‘The Origin of Species’.
Jonathan Silvertown linked Darwin’s great work with his & other scientists’ research into bio-diversity and how species were under threat & disappearing, becoming extinct - and linking with increased global carbon emissions (pollution) bringing about Global Warming which was accelerating the demise of species.
The lecture was very interesting & informative insofar as the research into bio-diversity. It is clear that Pollution is a serious problem and needs to be addressed, BUT, is it the cause of Global Warming?
The writer raised the first question after the lecture:- about concerns over the non-sequitur (unjustified, illogical) leap of reasoning that linked Pollution with Global Warming, and then explained that consideration of the writer’s SUPER-MOTOR model of star/planets systems gave another & more likely cause of Global Warming. In that the earth, functioning as an induction motor was also an induction furnace (see previous papers in this series).
(Note: models proposed by others have considered the earth as a dynamo/generator which does not make sense as dynamos require mechanical inputs - from where?, an invisible flexidrive)
Irish Times Science Editor Dick Ahlstrom cut through science debate by asking what all this had to do with bio-diversity. It was explained to him that bio-diversity was affected by Global Warming, as argued by Jonathan, and it was relevant to establish correct cause/effect dynamics.
Jonathan Silvertown argued that it is long known that the earth’s orbit does oscillate around the sun but that ample paleontological evidence proved that this was not the cause of global warming, he then cut the debate.
In short Silvertown simply resorted to the erroneous ‘mountains of voices’ argument (i.e. because many scientists accept the pollution/global warming link theory that therefore it is correct) – this despite the fact that astrophysics, physics or engineering are not his areas of expertise. What this observation confirms is the way in which scientists from across different areas of specialisation automatically assume that theories within other domains are correct solely by common association – in other words scientists do not stop & think: ‘does this make sense?’, engineering thought is not applied by scientists.
Whilst Pollution is a serious issue that needs to be addressed it has not been proved that Pollution is causing Global Warming. Contradictory arguments show otherwise…..
… Consider:
We are told by scientists that millions/thousands of years ago huge volcanic eruptions spewed masses of debris into the air which formed clouds of pollution that spread & blanketed the earth, shutting out the sun, and caused the ice age (Global Freezing).
We are now also told that man is pumping pollution into the atmosphere – much, much less than previously spewed out by volcanoes – but this is now causing Global Warming.
The two issues do not correlate!!! – pollution freezes, pollution warms – which is what and what is which????
It raises the question: are we going to boil or freeze?
We need to rethink.
A pot boiling on a stove causes bubbling, take the pot off (remove energy source), the bubbling stops. It thus seems logical that for volcanoes to erupt that there must be some external energy source causing it. Logic says that the only energy source near to us is the sun.
Electro-magnetic radiation must therefore induce currents into the earth which creates a magnetic field, and electrostatic field (gravity) and also heats up the core of the earth. The magnetic field cause earth to rotate producing centrifugal action opposing the sun’s magnetic attraction; the electrostatic field sticks things to the earth; the core heating producing boiling lava which causes volcanoes to boil over (erupt).
Interaction from the moon induces a back emf opposing the primary induced currents, and wit the moon varying its distance & effect upon the earth, will vary (increases or decreases) the primary induced currents. If the currents increase then the earth warms up, if decrease it cools down.
Oscillations of the earth/moon toward or away from the sun would also have similar effects of increasing/reducing induced currents.
Increased volcanic action can produce another global-blanketing effect, and another Global Freeze (ice age) – and it would be a catastrophic, not a gradual, transition.
It is entirely possible that the earth has been through a number of remelts, in which event previous palaeontology evidence would be partially if not totally erased.
So whilst Global Warming supporters would have us spending on more sunscreen & bikinis the probability is that we should rather be buying arctic weather gear & engaging in other survival techniques.
This surely makes more sense than arguments that masses of pollution from volcanoes cause Global Freezing, yet small amounts of pollution causes Global Warming?
Unfortunately engineering is absent from the sciences because scientists refuse to engage in constructive research & development. Merit is not rewarded, instead defective models are supported and new thinking blocked out.
This is amply clear from the latest 2009 Nobel Prize citations – read the ‘Information for the Public’ & Scientific Background’ for both the Physics & Economics Prizes – it is clear that the research does not comply with Alfred Nobel’s ‘Terms of Will’ – defective research is wrongly rewarded.
And Barack Obama’s Peace Prize award does not comply with any of the three conditions in the ‘Terms of Will’ – in fact, completely the opposite.
Is the promotion of Global Warming simply a new form of deceptive bio-ethic genocide?
Note: All this, and any other R&D at CDADD site, is open to challenge, which is fully welcomed, and if it should be proven wrong, fully or partially, then appropriate retractions will be happily made – engineering is not about egos but about establishing sound application of science, developing sound system structures & controls – BUT, scientists refuse to engage in science debate, which refusal is unprofessional & unscientific.
